25. The Gates of Hell – Darvaza, Turkmenistan

Hell Gate or Derveze Pit is a natural gas well located in the Derveze district of Ahal province in Turkmenistan. The structure called Hell Gate is located in the village of Derveze, in the middle of the Karakum desert, in the Ahal province, which is a large settlement in the country.

Today, the village is flooded with tourists from many different countries who want to see the structure called Hell Gate. The gas crater is located at approximately 40.181038 N, 58.411217 E coordinates.
