Biarritz, the coolest beach town on the southwest coast of France, was once a noble-class resort, now the surfing center of Europe. Biarritz is a charming city that is popular for its glamorous beaches, imposing castles, triangular-roofed houses, and delicious restaurants. Grande Plage is the center of the movement. Immediately behind, you should see the restored Art Deco Casino and stroll down the streets leading to the old port to the west.
