5. FORTH BRIDGE – SCOTLAND
One of Scotland’s longest and most incredible bridges, Forth Bridge connects the country’s capital, Edinburgh, to the historic district of Fife in North Queensferry. This bridge, 2.5 kilometers long and 46 meters wide was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2015.
Unlike other bridges, the load of the bridge is carried not by the borders but by the structures placed in the middle. Forth Bridge welcomes its passengers in all its glory with its industrial aesthetics and eye-catching red color.
