2.Popping Dance
In the 1975’s, songs started to transition from “funky” style to “disco” style. As the music began to change, the dances began to change, as the dance emerged from the song’s activating body. Boogaloo Sam, who was in Fresno California, created the boogaloo dance, and then inspired by the locking groups in the “Train soul” show, they recruited other dancers and started working as a team, thus laying the foundations for the formation of the popping dance.
